Insects and Tiny Creatures and Training
Despite being often seen as annoying or scary, the insects that live under our feet are essential to life on earth. Knowing more about these tiny and fascinating creatures allows us to embark on a more attentive and profound discovery of nature. In this Investigation Pack, we will have the opportunity to explore a variety of insects and tiny creatures that live or look for their resources in the soil and their unique characteristics, behaviors, and habits.

ROOTS: The Secret Life of Plants
Soil hides a vital part of plant life. Learning about roots contributes to children's understanding of how these plants' structures are essential to their survival, also growing their environmental awareness. In this Investigation Pack, children will explore this secret world of lines, shapes, depths, and flavors.
INVESTIGATION PACK FOUR
ROCKS: Stones, Crystals, & Minerals
Planet Earth could very well be called a Planet Rock, since beneath our feet, towards the center of the earth, there are giant blocks of rock with millions of years old. With this Investigation Pack children will have many opportunities to explore rocks as a material and to develop their own theories. The more they feel and investigate them, the more they make them their own and the greater their fascination, to the point that some rocks become true treasures.
INVESTIGATION PACK FIVE
ANIMALS: Crawlers and Burrowers
Animals that live underground have adapted to survive in their dark, cramped habitat. They have reduced eyesight, strong senses of touch and smell, strong limb muscles, and specialized digging mechanisms. Learning about these animals can support children in appreciating the interconnectedness of all living things and the importance of preserving biodiversity. With this Investigation Pack, children can explore the overarching concepts of Comfort, Movement, Community, and Senses through engaging hands-on proposals that spark children's curiosity and encourage them to explore their local environment.

Maps allow us to travel to distant locations, guide us through unknown territory, and uncover the secrets of our neighborhoods. They are crucial tools that enable us to explore the world in a variety of ways. By exploring maps with children, we undertake on a journey of discovery that can ignite their curiosity and inspire their imaginations. This investigation pack will support children to deepen their spatial awareness and problem-solving while building on their ability to communicate with others using language and symbols. Children can also explore concepts such as distance, direction, and location while learning about different environments and communities.

MAN-MADE: Structures We Walk Over
Often overlooked and taken for granted, the man-made structures we walk over every day are essential to the functioning of our communities. Children see and interact with these structures daily, however, they are not always aware of the meaning and purpose of these structures. This Investigation Pack can spark curiosity, develop imagination and encourage children to appreciate the world around them in a whole new way, especially to understand how intertwined people and things are and the influence that it has in creating and maintaining the communities where we live.

This Investigation Pack will sharpen their senses, unleash their creativity, foster cooperation, cultivate scientific inquiry, expand their vocabulary, and enhance their physical skills.

From tranquil pond habitats to ever-changing river landscapes and captivating puddles, this Investigation Pack invites children on a fascinating journey of discovery. Through hands-on experiences and imaginative play, children will deepen their connection to the natural world and nurture their curiosity.
